Breach of contract is basically somebody breaking their agreement. However, in Florida there are specific elements required for a breach of contract. The first, there must be a contract. A contract is generally an agreement between parties to do something. Both sides need to make a promise. There also needs to be a material breach of that contract, which means that one of the terms of the contract wasn’t followed by one of the parties, and it was an important term.
