A bar can be responsible under what is called the Florida Dram Shop Act. The actions of the bar must be willful and that is they must have some knowledge or notice that the serving of an alcoholic beverage to an individual, either that individual is perhaps a minor, they’re not qualified to legally consume alcoholic beverages, or if the person has a habitual drinking problem, and they knowingly serve them.
